You can also use medicinal herbs for the skin of the face in their natural form, preparing decoctions, infusions and masks at home.

Dandelion

In cosmetology, dandelion has long been used for facial skin in anti-aging procedures. The plant also helps, with dermatological problems, with the help of it you can get rid of freckles and whiten the skin of the face. The composition of the plant includes rubbery substances, vitamins of groups A, B, C, E, PP, organic acids, resins, sterols and saponins.

The most effective are cosmetic procedures for facial rejuvenation that use masks and cosmetic ice from dandelions.

  1. Anti-aging mask. To prepare this mask, you need to take dandelion juice in the amount of 5 ml, 1 avocado, 5 g of starch. Make an avocado puree, then mix all the ingredients together. The resulting mass should be applied to a previously steamed face, left for 30 minutes, then rinsed with cold water. The mask can be applied to the face twice a week. After several applications, deep and small folds of the skin are noticeably smoothed and the relief of the face becomes more elastic.
  2. cosmetic ice cream. To prepare this product, you will need: 10-15 ml of dandelion juice, 50 ml of distilled water, 5 ml of hazelnut oil. All the ingredients must be mixed, poured into molds and sent to the freezer. With ready-made cubes, you need to wipe your face, it is advisable to do this in the evening, the skin of the face must first be cleansed. The procedure should be carried out in 10-day sessions, while the duration of treatment should not exceed 3 times a year.

Rosemary

Rosemary could well replace any lifting agent, since it contains the HSP70 protein, which can slow down the aging process at the cellular level. In addition, the plant contains tannins, fatty acids, vitamins and trace elements that can heal and rejuvenate facial skin.

Most often, rosemary is used in the form of essential oil, which can be purchased at most beauty stores and pharmacies. To prepare cosmetics at home, the plant will have to be grown on our own, since in its natural form it is very rarely found on the shelves of stores and pharmacies.

  1. Rejuvenating mask. To prepare the mask, you need to grind half a banana into a puree, then add 50 ml of avocado oil and an infusion or decoction of rosemary. The amount of decoction or infusion should be calculated, since the finished mask should resemble thick sour cream in consistency. The product can be applied to the face 2-3 times a week, after which the skin becomes more elastic, wrinkles are smoothed.
  2. Decoction. To prepare a decoction, you need to take 20 g of dry rosemary leaves, pour 200 ml of boiling water and put in a water bath for 15-20 minutes. Ready broth must be strained before use. Take 50 ml 2 times a day.
  3. Infusion. The remedy is prepared from 50 g of the leaves of the plant, which must be poured with a glass of boiling water and infused for 3-4 hours, it is advisable to do this in a thermos or wrap the container withthe infusion into something warm. After the appointed time, the infusion must be filtered.

Important! Rosemary decoctions and infusions can also be used in the form of compresses or made into cosmetic ice cream.

Chamomile contains a lot of vitamins, microelements and valuable organic acids for the body. All of this together helps to rejuvenate, moisturize and whiten the facial skin, making it more elastic and supple. In cosmetology, the most effective result can be achieved using chamomile decoctions and infusions.

  1. Decoction. To prepare the product, it is necessary to pour dry chamomile flowers - 25 grams with a glass of warm boiled water and put them in a water bath for half an hour. The finished broth must be strained and, if necessary, diluted with boiled water. Means for wiping the skin of the face and décolleté. After application, facial wrinkles are visibly reduced and smoothed.
  2. Infusion. To prepare chamomile infusion, you need to pour a tablespoon of the dried, crushed plant with a glass of boiling water and insist for half an hour. The finished product should be strained and, as in the previous recipe, wipe the skin of the face with it.

sage

Using sage for cosmetic purposes will help cleanse the skin of the face and preserve its youth for a long time. The plant contains anti-aging, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic substances, which is why sage is so widely used in cosmetology.

  1. Infusion for the face. Ready-to-use sage infusion can be used as an additive to a lotion or tonic, as well as in the form of compresses and face lotions. In order to prepare sage infusion, pour 3 tablespoons of dry raw materials with a glass of boiling water and insist in a thermos for 2 hours. The resulting infusion must be cooled, filtered, put in the refrigerator and used as needed. From this infusion, you can make cosmetic cubes - pour into molds and place in the freezer, and wipe your face with them in the morning and evening.
  2. Decoction. A decoction of sage effectively affects the skin of the face, rejuvenating and toning it. To prepare it, three tablespoons of sage should be poured with boiling water and simmered for another 15 minutes. The resulting product should be cooled, filtered and washed with once a day.

In nature, there are many medicinal plants that can be effectively used for cosmetic purposes. The main thing is to do it correctly so that the plant used does not harm, but rather can get the most out of the application.
